Are you prepared for 10 more years of this difficult market?

With almost 40 years of experience in asset preservation, management and liquidation, Sternberg is the former senior vice president of the REO department for American Home Loan Servicing, Inc. His previous titles also include first vice president of home loan servicing and REO of Indymac Bank FSB, national REO manager of Ocwen Federal Bank FSB, president of Virginia Commonwealth Realty and senior vice president of American Family Homes.

His opinion, and mine too, is that this current market is here to stay for the next 8-10 years. REOs and Short sales will continue to dominate the market. Are you ready for it? Or are you waiting for things to return to "normal"?

My personal opinion is that in the latter half of 2010 we are going to see a huge increase in inventory and we will see property values decline even further. BPOs, REOs and Short Sales are going to be growth areas. Now is the time to start planning for the future.
